Backflow preventers keep irrigation water, fire-line water, and commercial process water from siphoning back into the drinking supply. They’re required on many properties and have to be tested yearly by a certified tester. We test the assembly, repair it on the spot if it fails, and submit the report to the water authority with a copy to you. Next year we’ll remind you before the notice does.
